As Laboratory Technician in Physics (100%), you will be responsible for quality measurements of ultra-pure water with the most advanced technologies of the industry. This includes getting trained for state-of-the-art metrologies, performing routine and non-routine measurements to support our business, calibrating and maintaining the instruments, as well as reporting the results to your team.
You will be a pivoting support for the innovation team, supporting in experimental design and execution, data collection and interpretation, design, assembly and testing of setups. In addition to quality measurements, your role includes manufacturing of high-technology products, mainly mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, and integration testing. Quality control and regular sensors calibration will complete your sets of activities.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

Perform high-quality physical measurements (electrical, mechanical, acoustics, etc.) with state-of-the-art technologies

Perform production tasks, including mechanical assembly and electrical wiring and testing of instruments

Support Quality Control activities

Assist in the design, mounting, and operation of testing setups

Prepare analytical reports

Participate in experimental design, data collection, and interpretation

Support innovation engineers' team in projects for industrial water purification and water quality monitoring

Maintain contact with international suppliers and customers
Qualifications:
-
Laboratory Technician Degree (CFC) or equivalent in physics, or a bachelor’s degree in physical measurements with previous industrial experience

Experience with physical measurements and sensors calibration
-
Experience with microscope (OM, SEM, AFM) and material/surface inspection

Ability to work in lab and clean room environement as well as in assembly workshops

Previous experience in Quality Control is a plus

Senior level in MS Office tools

Self-driven personality, creative, and able to work under pressure

Hands-on mentality with a sense of ownership and responsibility

Strong communication skills and team-oriented working capability

Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment

Willingness to travel internationally (occasionally; up to 10%)

Fluent in English; German and/or French is an added value
