At Woolsocks we're looking for a Product Manager - Investing (Lucerne) Connections to join our team.
Full-time · Lucerne, Switzerland - In Office
About Woolsocks
There are endless opportunities to make your money work harder, but for most people investing still feels complicated, intimidating or simply out of reach. We think it should be the opposite. Our mission for this venture is simple: make investing accessible and easy for everyone.
Here is the thinking behind the service:
The barrier is complexity, not desire. People would genuinely benefit from investing, yet they never start, because it feels complicated and intimidating.
Investing together lowers that barrier. People take the step far more easily when you make it simple and when they do it alongside others they trust, rather than alone.
Experience should flow to those who need it. More experienced people can guide less experienced ones, and in particular parents can guide their children, inside a structure that is sound both fiscally and legally.
We believe in patient, passive investing, not active trading. Lasting benefit comes from passive investing with low cost, in individual products, not from chasing the market.
This is the vision you would be helping to build.
This new product is part of the same group behind Woolsocks, the smart app that helps millions of members across Europe spend smarter, save better and build wealth. We work from four locations in Europe and are 100+ people strong, growing incredibly fast. Our investing product is a close cousin of Woolsocks, it shares our DNA and our ambition, but it is its own story: a distinct product that will have its own app, its own brand and its own audience, all still to be built.

Where you come in
The technical core platform is built and proven. What it needs now is someone to take it from a working product to a scaling business: a dedicated app, its own go-to-market and marketing engine separate from Woolsocks, and a clear path to growth.
That is the job. The vision and strategy are already set by our founder, who you will work with closely and report to. Your mandate is to execute them brilliantly: to translate a clear direction into a shipped, growing product, and to drive it end-to-end.
This is an AI-native role. We believe a small, senior team that builds and automates aggressively with AI will outrun a large one, and we intend to prove it. You will be expected to use AI as a force multiplier across everything you touch, from research, prototyping and copy to operations, analysis and support, so the team stays lean even as the product scales. If your instinct is to reach for a tool or an agent before reaching for more headcount, you will feel at home here.
About the job
As Product Manager for Investing, you turn the founder’s vision into a shipped, growing product. You own delivery, not just the backlog. That means driving the work end-to-end across:
Direction and roadmap. You actively challenge our vision and strategy and help us to translate that direction into tangible goals, priorities and KPIs. You make the sharp day-to-day prioritisation calls that keep the product moving toward it.
Product development. You combine Product Discovery and Product Delivery day-to-day, driving complex and ambitious deliveries end-to-end alongside data analysts, developers and UX designers.
Operations. You are involved in every aspect of the service: design and discovery, development, operations, support, legal and contracting.
Revenue. You drive monetization and are accountable for hitting the growth and revenue goals set for the product.
Beyond that:
You will help build the brand and grow its member base from an early stage, backed by a proven platform. You will work closely with your UX colleagues to shape the direction and turn it into execution.
You will build a deep understanding of your end-users, the market, the competition and what is technologically possible, and you will keep that understanding current.
You will constantly collect data and insights to make informed decisions, while honestly assessing the risks that come with them.
You will work in a dynamic environment with a lot of interaction with end-users and colleagues of different competences.
You will actively build and automate with AI, from prototyping features and drafting copy to wiring up internal tooling and analysis, keeping the team small and the output large.
Joining us means joining an environment where no day is the same. If you thrive where decisions are made fast and we iterate on processes and products continuously, this might just be the next exciting opportunity for you.
About you
To be successful in this role, we believe the ideal candidate matches the following profile. The first three points are hard requirements. Everything after them is what makes someone great at this job.
You believe in the vision and direction described above. Your job is to execute the vision, so you need to be genuinely convinced by it.
You already know investing from the inside. You might got here in one of two ways: you invest your own money, or you have a few years of experience working in the industry (asset management, brokerage, wealth management, or a closely related part of financial services). Both is ideal. What matters is that the knowledge is already there on day one. E.g. You do not need to look up what a corporate action, what AUM means, or what a TER is and why 0.2 percent instead of 1.2 percent compounds into a completely different outcome over twenty years.
A genuine interest in the subject. You follow this space because you find it genuinely interesting, not because it happens to be the assignment. You have a genuine interest in how people cope with their money and eager to build deep user insights what motivates them. One caveat worth being honest about: our conviction is patient, low-cost, passive investing. If what excites you is picking stocks and timing the market, you will not enjoy working here.
Minimum 2-3 years of full-time experience in a similar product role,
A strong executor’s mindset: you take a clear vision and relentlessly turn it into shipped product, and you have the discipline to drive delivery independently. You thrive with a clear mandate and are energised, not frustrated, by executing someone else’s vision well.
AI-native by default. You already lean on AI tools to build, prototype, analyse, write and automate, and you reach for them before adding process or people. You are excited to help build a company that stays small by design.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Affinity with analysing data insights, and the ability to interpret trends and communicate them effectively with stakeholders.
Not afraid to make decisions based on a combination of data, qualitative insights and best practices, even when the data is incomplete.
Experience with qualitative and quantitative user research methods such as user interviews, usability testing, A/B testing and surveys.
Based in a location in or close to Lucerne for a full-time, in-office role, and available to spend several weeks in Amsterdam during onboarding.
What we offer
A competitive remuneration package and an office in central Lucerne, Switzerland. Your first weeks are spent in Amsterdam alongside the founder, learning the business and the vision from the inside before you lead its execution in Lucerne. As the venture is growing rapidly, there is plenty of room for professional development, and a rare chance to drive a product from an early, high-leverage stage while working directly with the founder.
