Role Summary
This is a polyvalent restaurant role. Your main focus is guest service, but you must be willing to support any daily operation tasks as needed (service, counter, takeaway, cleaning, restocking, basic beverage prep, opening/closing support). This role is not suitable for candidates who only want to do one task.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests, seat if needed, take orders, run food and drinks, and handle requests professionally
- Operate POS and handle payments accurately (cash/card)
- Keep dining area and service stations clean, organized, and compliant at all times
- Support team operations: restocking, packaging/takeaway, basic beverage prep, cleaning, and other daily FOH tasks
- Follow hygiene and food-safety standards consistently
- Stay calm, efficient, and cooperative during rush periods
Requirements (must-have)
- English & French required (confident speaking with guests)
- Valid Swiss work authorization required (please state your permit type in your application)
- Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, team-oriented
- Physically able to stand long shifts and lift up to 15 kg
- Availability for mornings/evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule varies)
- Prior restaurant/hospitality experience
- Food-safety awareness (HACCP mindset)
