DPR Construction Europe, a strong player in the construction of advanced tech and life science projects, is focusing on operating in Germany and Switzerland.
We are seeking a motivated CSA Construction Manager / Superintendent to join our high-impact life science and data center projects. This position will be based in the Schaffhausen area.
Role Overview
Managing CSA work sequencing, look-ahead planning, schedule performance, progress reporting, risks, and corrective actions
Managing sub - contra c tor CSA site teams, including supervisors, engineers, package managers, and trade partners across civil, structural, architectural, façade, fit-out, and building envelope scopes
Ensuring implementation of project quality plans through inspections, benchmarking, QA/QC processes, defect management, and compliance with local standards and regulations
Coordinating CSA interfaces with design, procurement, MEP, commissioning, and client teams to ensure constructability, correct sequencing, and timely resolution of issues
Managing building acceptance, handover, and close-out procedures with local authorities and the client, ensuring all inspections, documentation, QA records, safety files, and punch lists are completed
Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering , Structural Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a construction-related field. Alternatively, a technical career through an apprenticeship in construction
Technical Skills: Knowledge of project management software, scheduling software (P6) , preferably BIM software (ACC, Navisworks, or similar), Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with local regulations and industry norms
Work style: Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills. Strong work ethic with a passion for construction. Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to maintain a project overview while managing technical details. Effective working within a team and clear communication and collaboration with all stakeholders
