About the Role
Happy Home is seeking an experienced and compassionate Weekend Carer for a private family in Kloten. The position involves dedicated care of an 11-year-old boy with cerebral palsy and full wheelchair dependency. This is a meaningful, hands-on role for a professional who combines technical care skills with genuine warmth.
Schedule
- Friday: 17:00 – 20:00
- Saturday & Sunday: 08:00 – 20:00
- Additional holiday coverage as needed
Responsibilities
- Personal daily care (hygiene, dressing, nappy changes)
- Wheelchair handling and safe transfers
- Cooking and meal preparation
- Grocery shopping and errands
- Home exercises and therapy support
- Transport to therapy appointments (driving required)
- Outings and social activities
- Light household tasks
Requirements
- ✅ Fluent German (spoken and written) — essential
- ✅ Proven experience with children with special needs or disability care
- ✅ Valid Swiss driving licence Category B
- ✅ Legal right to work in Switzerland (valid permit)
- ✅ Available immediately
- ✅ Reliable, discreet, and physically able
