Based at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich within the People & Culture Department in Zurich, the People & Culture Trainee is responsible for supporting People & Culture initiatives, assisting with employee engagement activities, and contributing to the overall development of a positive workplace culture. The People & Culture Trainee reports to the People & Culture Team.
Start Date: July or August 2026
As a P&C Trainee, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
Planning and coordinating interview appointments
Supporting the implementation of P&C projects
Organizing birthday gifts for our colleagues
Running errands and managing administrative tasks within the P&C department
Answering phone calls and overseeing the reception at the entrance of the P&C office
Serving as the first point of contact for employee concerns on various topics
Assisting the entire P&C team with a variety of administrative tasks
As P&C Trainee, we expect from you:
A completed education in an administrative field, ideally in the hospitality industry, or you are a student at a hotel management school
Organizational talent and enthusiasm for designing efficient processes
A strong sense of quality and attention to detail in your work
Flexibility, resilience, and a solution-oriented mindset
Excellent German skills and good English skills, both written and spoken
Team spirit and a willingness to actively contribute to collaboration
A positive demeanor and confident appearance when interacting with employees and candidates
Discretion and a high level of responsibility when handling confidential information
Initial experience with MS Office applications (especially Outlook, Word, and Excel) or other administrative tools is an advantage
