We are seeking a Field Applications Engineer to act as a key technical partner to customers, ensuring the successful deployment and performance of advanced monitoring systems in real-world environments. This position offers a dynamic blend of hands-on engineering, customer interaction, and problem-solving, with significant exposure to international projects.

Serve as the main technical point of contact for customers during system deployment and operation

Support the transition of innovative technology from development into field application

Work closely with customers to ensure optimal system performance and data reliability

Travel: support installations, testing, and customer engagement

Take ownership of both technical execution and customer success in the field

Plan and conduct on-site trials, including system setup, testing, and data collection across varied environments

Deliver onboarding and training sessions, guiding users through hardware, software, and data interpretation

Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support, resolving complex hardware and software challenges

Act as a liaison between customers and internal R&D teams, sharing insights to support product improvement

Ensure compliance with industry standards and adherence to established procedures and documentation practices

Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and system checks to maintain long-term performance and accuracy

Independently manage travel arrangements, reporting, and coordination for field activities

We are looking for a technically skilled and customer-oriented professional who thrives in hands-on environments

Degree or higher education in a technical or engineering field

Minimum 3 years of experience in field service or applications engineering, ideally within optical, analytical, or sensing technologies

Strong troubleshooting capabilities across mechanical and electronic systems

Ability to interpret and communicate complex data in a clear and meaningful way

Experience preparing detailed technical documentation and service reports

Knowledge of airflow systems, pneumatics, or similar technical domains is an advantage

Familiarity with regulated environments and structured operational procedures

Independent, proactive mindset with the ability to manage tasks autonomously in the field

Strong communication and training skills, with a collaborative and solution-oriented approach

Fluency in English and French; German is a plus
