Public Affairs & Government Relations Manager (100%)

Your mission:
As Public Affairs & Government Relations Manager, you shape and advance Skyguide's political and regulatory agenda in Switzerland. You build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and provide strategic advice on policy developments impacting our business. In addition, you drive transparent corporate and sustainability reporting, strengthening Skyguide's position as a trusted partner within the Swiss aviation ecosystem.
Your tasks:
Develop and implement public affairs strategies, advocacy initiatives and stakeholder engagement plans
Build and maintain strong relationships with political decision-makers, authorities, industry associations and key interest groups
Monitor and analyse political, legislative and regulatory developments at the federal and, where relevant, European level
Assess the impact of policy developments on Skyguide and provide actionable recommendations to management
Prepare position papers, briefings, speeches and presentations for senior leadership and support political outreach activities
Lead the planning, coordination and publication of the Annual Report and Sustainability (ESG) Report
Collaborate closely with business units and the Executive Board to ensure aligned and effective public affairs activities
Support cross-functional initiatives at the interface of public affairs and external stakeholder engagement
What we are looking for:
University degree in Political Science, Communications, Law or a related field
Several years of experience in Swiss Public Affairs, advocacy, stakeholder engagement and political communication, ideally within a regulated environment
Strong understanding of Swiss legislative processes, the political landscape and public administration, with an established professional network
Proven ability to analyse complex political and regulatory topics and translate them into clear business implications
Communication: You adapt your communication style to different stakeholders and situations and build understanding through active listening and meaningful dialogue
Building relationships: You build and maintain trusted relationships and enjoy bringing diverse stakeholders together to achieve common goals
Native-level German and strong professional proficiency in French and English are essential for engaging effectively with stakeholders across Switzerland
