Die Position
The Pharma Technical Operations (PT) involves a range of activities, from Supply Chain to Regulatory Affairs to Finance to People& Culture.Click here to find out the range of departments involved, as well as previous projects worked on. This internship will be in the space of the PTS Pharma Supply Chain and Product Strategy.
Included in the internship will be training on the basic concepts of the work done in the respective departments. The interns will also be able to take advantage of Roche resources on subjects such as interviewing, making presentations, time management, and more. For this internship, we are looking into a more specific and focused scope of supply chain management.
The PHM focus area within the Pharma Technical Operations (PT) focuses on driving the E2E capabilities required to have robust, timely and compliant mitigation of risks across the product’s lifecycle. This role is dedicated to ensure that products and supply chains are designed to deliver a competitive advantage and proactively manage product health from initial launch through late life cycle. You will help build the guidance that enables product teams to measure health, set targets and document it in the existing tools so that we can generate strategic portfolio insights.
The Opportunity
- Framework Evolution: adapt the comprehensive guidance to measure Product Health (PH), including re-definition of metrics and setting the corresponding targets to track how well products meet market needs.
- Digital Implementation: support the gathering of PH metrics and actions in Monday.com as the central monitoring platform and support creating dashboards that visualize PH and their link to brand forecasts.
- Training: design and execute a training plan for the product teams to be able to run their second iteration of PH assessment following the adapted guidance and documentation in Monday.com.
- Execution: conduct the next PH assessment and consolidate the results for the next Portfolio Health Review.
- Strategic Visibility: gain deep exposure to product strategy, portfolio management, and cross-pharma "winning solution" generation.
- Technical Skill Building: develop high-demand skills in digital tool implementation (Monday.com) and the definition of a guide that assesses product management performance.
- Lasting Impact: Establish the oversight mechanism that enables data-driven decision-making for the organization's entire product portfolio.
Who you are
You are currently studying for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with an interest in healthcare technical operations. Furthermore, you have
- A strong technical interest in business processes, digital dashboards, and product strategy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft/Google applications. Experience with data visualization and storytelling is a plus.
- Proficiency in English.
- A creative mindset, and approach challenges with a constructive attitude. In addition, you are a proactive learner and problem-solver.

- It is not possible to write a thesis during the internship.
