Timberland EMEA is looking for an exceptional Associate Merchandiser, Footwear – DTC to join our Timberland EMEA team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let’s Talk about the Role
The Associate Merchandiser, Footwear – DTC supports the execution of DTC footwear merchandising across EMEA, ensuring accurate product data, strong Go-To-Market delivery, and efficient assortment execution across stores and digital channels.
With a dedicated focus on Outlet and Kids, this role contributes to the successful delivery of value-driven, high-volume assortments and supports seasonal readiness for key footwear categories. This role reports into the DTC Merchandising Manager.
How You Will Make a Difference
You will achieve this by:
DTC Assortment & Line Plan Support: support the execution of footwear assortments across DTC channels, including stores and digital, helping to maintain line plans, assortment tools, and product lists with accuracy and consistency.
Channel Adaptation: contribute to adapting global assortments to DTC channel needs across Full Price, Outlet, and Kids, supporting the identification of gaps in size curves, price positioning, and key franchises.
Product Data & System Management: own accurate product data entry and maintenance across systems, including PLM, pricing, and SKU attributes, ensuring updates from GTM milestones are reflected in tools and systems.
Merchandising Tools & Trackers: maintain line lists, merchandising trackers, workbooks, and product information with high attention to detail, ensuring consistency and reliability across all deliverables.
Sample & GTM Coordination: coordinate sales samples and showroom readiness for DTC channels, supporting the preparation of GTM deliverables such as assortment decks, product information, and retail tools.
Retail & Digital Readiness: ensure product information is complete, accurate, and available on time for retail and digital teams to enable smooth seasonal execution.
Performance Tracking & Reporting: track product performance across DTC channels, supporting analysis of sell-through, bestsellers, and slow movers, and contributing to seasonal reporting.
Risk & Opportunity Identification: highlight risks and opportunities to the Merchandiser and Manager, using performance insights to support informed decisions and improve assortment execution.
Cross-Functional Coordination: work closely with DTC Merchandising, Planning, Retail, and Digital teams to ensure alignment on product information, timelines, and GTM deliverables.
Outlet & Kids Focus: provide dedicated support to the Outlet business and Kids footwear merchandising, ensuring proper execution of value-driven assortments, high-volume product flows, correct size curves, product selection, pricing, lifecycle management, and seasonal readiness.
Operational Excellence: ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency across merchandising deliverables, maintaining strong organization of samples, tools, and data while supporting continuous improvement of merchandising processes and data quality.

Analytical Mindset: interest in retail performance and ability to support analysis of sell-through, bestsellers, slow movers, and seasonal opportunities across stores and digital channels.
Organizational & Coordination Skills: ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate deliverables, and keep tools, samples, and information well organized across channels and seasonal milestones.
DTC Retail Understanding: genuine interest in footwear and the DTC retail environment, with curiosity for how assortments perform across stores, digital, Full Price, Outlet, and Kids.
Systems & Tools: confidence working with PLM, pricing information, SKU attributes, Excel, product lists, workbooks, and merchandising systems.
Cross-Functional Communication: strong collaboration skills and ability to communicate effectively with DTC Merchandising, Planning, Retail, Digital, and other cross-functional teams.
Channel Complexity & Execution: ability to support execution across multiple channel environments, including Full Price, Outlet, and Kids, with focus on coordination, operational excellence, and seasonal readiness.
