This position is responsible for the Group Reporting in OneStream, VAT, all general ledger journal entries for CKS and other small entities, Fixed Assets, Bank Accounts, Project Controlling, SOX-controls, financial master data management in close cooperation with the head of finance.
Goals are to be achieved with financially and ethically sound methods, guided by our Purpose and our Core Values (Win As One, Partner With Possibility, Make It Matter, Drive To Deliver), and by making use of the Hillenbrand Operating Model (HOM).
Tasks:
- Coordination, preparation and support of internal and external audits (SOX-EY-Tax Audits)
- Timely and accurate monthly reporting according to US GAAP and statutory reporting for Coperion K-Tron Switzerland and for subsidiaries in EMEA and US in OneStream and Forecasts
- Timely TAX declarations with support from external specialists including VAT declarations in CH, DE, UK and FR
- Support AR and AP specialists locally and at shared service center
- Intercompany recharges, commissions and IC-Matching
- Cash Collection and Accounts Receivables bad debt reserve
- Accounts Payable payments and Cash Forecast
- Goods received not invoiced reconciliation
- Maintain Project Accounting and support Project Controlling regarding Project Capitalization, Gross Margin and Variance analysis
- Review material cost variances, inventory and revenue cut off and update product cost calculations
- Responsible for every accounting related matter including mapping,
maintenance of chart of accounts, cost centers and Business Units
- Account reconciliations and supervision of Shared Service Center
- Quick support for ad-hoc requests from Group Finance, local management and project management
- Leasing tool super user
- Payroll reconciliation between HR and ERP-System
- Other tasks and Ad hoc projects
Profile:
- Several years’ experience in international accounting (including VAT and SOX)
- Very good written and verbal German and English skills
- Advanced experience using Microsoft Excel
- Attention to detail and prioritize diverse projects
- Willingness to identify root causes and implement process improvements
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture, encouraging open communication and teamwork
- Willingness to collaborate with virtual teams in shared service centers
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Accounting or Accounting Education (eidg. Fachausweis)
- Big 4 audit experience is a plus
- Strong analytical thinking
- Good communication skills
