Purpose:
The Global Warehouse Capacity Manager is responsible for governing a standardized warehouse capacity planning process that provides visibility to current and future capacity requirements across ABI Brewery Warehouses and Distribution Centers. This role serves as the company’s lead expert on warehouse layouts and capacity analysis, ensuring that investments are allocated to the highest priority opportunities while also identifying cost saving opportunities in underutilized locations. By combining data driven insights, financial analysis, and cross functional collaborations, the role enables strategic decisions on warehouse expansions, consolidations, lease renewals, and long term network planning.
The role:
Serve as the Global subject matter expert for warehouse capacity and layout analysis across ABI footprint of Brewery Warehouses, Distribution Centers and External Warehouses.
Develop, standardize and govern the global warehouse capacity process, methodologies, data standards and tools.
Analyze warehouse layouts to identify optimization opportunities for safety, capacity and productivity.
Centralize and standardize the Global Technical Specifications for warehouse design in collaboration with Safety and Engineering teams.
Maintain and enhance centralized visibility of capacity, utilization and future requirements across the network.
Utilize demand, inventory and production forecasts to identify future capacity constraints and opportunities.
Evaluate and recommend warehouse expansions, new warehouse investments, lease renewals and consolidation opportunities.
Validate financial business cases, including investment costs, savings opportunities, ROI and payback in alignment with Global Finance policies.
Explore and implement innovative solutions, including digital twins, warehouse simulation tools, and advanced analytics to improve accuracy and decision making.
Who we’re looking for:
8+ years of professional experience in warehouse capacity planning, industrial engineering, warehouse engineering, supply chain strategy, network design, or a related field
University degree in a relevant field e.g. Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics.
Proven experience developing capacity planning tools, models, and standardized processes across large or complex supply chain networks.
Expertise in Warehouse Layouts and Capacity Tools such as AutoCAD, Digital Twins, Simulators.
Experience in Data Analytics and Visualization tools (PowerBI or similar) to bring data insights to Zone Warehouse Teams.
Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive execution across global stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to influence decisions and drive accountability.
Languages: English (intermediate-advanced); Spanish/Portuguese preferred.
