What are we looking for?
Higher education in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance, or a commercial apprenticeship with further qualifications in accounting (e.g. Swiss Federal Diploma in Finance and Accounting, Certified Fiduciary).
8-12 years of accounting experience within the banking or financial services industry with comprehensive knowledge of IFRS accounting and financial close processes.
Proven experience acting as a Legal Entity Accountant with end-to-end responsibility for monthly, semi-annually and annual financial reporting.
Strong practical experience with SAP, ideally SAP S/4HANA, including general ledger accounting, financial close and legal entity accounting processes.
Experience working with Italian legal entities or bank branches, including coordination of statutory accounting, local financial statements and external accounting providers in Italy.
Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills with a proactive, structured and hands-on approach, capable of operating independently in an international and cross-functional environment.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken; German & Italian is considered an advantage.
Affinity for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and a willingness to embrace AI-enabled tools and ways of working.
