Role Description:
1. End-to-End Project Governance Strategic Planning
Develop and own the full project charter, detailed implementation roadmap, work breakdown structure (WBS), budget, timeline, risk register and governance framework tailored specifically to the clients legacy MDG replacement and Robotics MDG implementation, aligning all milestones with cross-system integration timelines.
Define clear project scope, acceptance criteria and governance rules strictly manage scope creep, especially for future additional requirements and customizations for customer, supplier and other master data domains.
Establish cross-functional governance alignment, clarify master data ownership across all domains (customer, supplier, material, product, finance), and enforce access control data stewardship protocols as part of project delivery.
Lead regular project governance meetings, provide transparent progress, risk and milestone reporting to executive stakeholders, and secure timely decisions for critical integration customization roadblocks.
2. Legacy MDG Decommissioning Data Migration Oversight
Oversee the full lifecycle of legacy data extraction, cleansing, deduplication and migration from the clients old MDG to the new Robotics MDG, ensuring 100 data integrity, accuracy and completeness with zero business disruption.
Coordinate the sunsetting of the clients legacy MDG and the discontinuation of Gravity-dependent processes, transitioning all hierarchy setup, data request and master data workflows to the new centralized MDG platform.
Manage full data validation and reconciliation post-migration, resolving historical data quality issues rooted in poor legacy governance and unregulated access.
3. Cross-System Integration Management
Oversee the design, development, testing and deployment of all bi-directional uni-directional integrations between the new Robotics MDG and all dependent systems.
Coordinate with internal IT teams, external vendors and system admins to resolve integration errors, latency issues and data sync failures ensure stable, real-time (or scheduled) data flow across all connected platforms.
Manage third-party vendors integration partners, negotiate SLAs, supervise delivery and hold partners accountable to project timelines and quality standards.
4. Risk, Budget Quality Control
Identify, mitigate and escalate project-critical risks including integration failures, data migration errors, delayed system go-lives, stakeholder misalignment and budget overruns.
Manage full project budget, track expenditures, approve resource costs and ensure delivery within approved financial boundaries.
Enforce strict data quality and testing standards, overseeing UAT, integration testing and cut-over activities to ensure the new MDG resolves existing pain points (unclear governance, poor access controls, inconsistent data).
Competencies:
Project Management
Experience:
6-8 years
Essential Skills:
This project focuses on implementing a brand-new, enterprise-grade Robotics-focused Master Data Governance (MDG) solution to replace the clients legacy MDG platform.
The new MDG will serve as the single, centralized source of truth for all master data objects (customer, supplier, material, product, financial master data), unify data creation update workflows, eliminate data silos, resolve ongoing data quality issues (rooted in poor governance, unclear ownership, missing access controls high operational complexity), and integrate seamlessly with S4HANA, Salesforce, Ariba, Snowflake, ORBIS, XAPIEN, GTS and other core business systems.
The end goal is to establish robust data governance, enforce validation rules, streamline cross-enterprise processes, and deliver fully reliable, compliant master data across the business.
