To help achieve our vision of a decarbonised future we are seeking a Control Engineer to develop the control strategies and algorithms that govern our fuel cell systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop control strategies, models and algorithms for fuel cell system operation
- Model and simulate plant and control behaviour (MATLAB/Simulink)
- Implement, tune and validate controllers for thermal, air, fuel and power subsystems
- Define control requirements, state machines and safety/diagnostic logic
- Support hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and on-bench/system commissioning
- Analyse system data to improve performance, efficiency and robustness
- Collaborate with embedded, test and electrical engineering
Skills and Experience Required:
- BSc/MSc in control, electrical, mechatronic or automation engineering is mandatory
- Minimum 3-4 years of control engineering experience with real physical systems
- Strong experience with MATLAB/Simulink and model-based design
- Knowledge of control theory, state machines and system identification
- Experience with HIL, embedded control or automotive controls is a strong plus
- understanding of fuel cell and thermodynamics around it is a strong plus
- Team player able to work autonomously with internal and external experts
- Excellent spoken and written English/French is mandatory; German is a plus
