Material Planer (m/w/d) – Supply Chain/Pharma/SAP MM/German/English Project /
Role: For our client, pharmaceutical company, we are looking for Material Planer (m/w/d).
Background: As a Material Planner you are playing a crucial role in our Planning Community. You will plan and manage a broad portfolio of primary, secondary and tertiary packaging materials, process aids and excipients, ensuring continuous availability towards an optimized production schedule for Sterile and Packaging Manufacturing operations. We manage an exciting product portfolio across different technologies: More than 15 product families with different dosage strengths are being produced and filled as pre-filled syringes, liquid vials, powder vials and lyovials. You will coordinate actions around replenishment and shipment of materials in close collaboration with our planning and manufacturing teams. You will act as a key contributor to ensure reliable and robust supply out of one of the largest Drug Product Manufacturing Sites within the company’s network. You will liaise with other departments on a daily basis to ensure business continuity and long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You maintain a professional and close relationship with our suppliers. Proactive communication, open-mindset, high level of resilience, end-to-end thinking and selfdirectedness are key factors to fulfill this exciting role. Finally, you will be responsible for resolving issues related to your portfolio, considering all related trade-off decisions, striving for the best possible solutions
The perfect candidate is a motivated person, who is proactive and has strong communication skills. Additionally, he/she is able to identify and focus on value-added activities and is a good team player.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Ensuring that the pharmaceutical supply chain is adequately supplied with primary packaging materials, process aid and production-supporting auxiliary materials for Sterile Manufacturing operations
* Inventory management and definition of risk mitigation actions – as well as defining and implementing measures for efficient processes (management of safety stocks, process optimisation, risk analysis)
* Point of contact for all related suppliers regarding deliveries and tracking of purchase orders
* Maintain effective communication among all business partners (e.g. Sterile Manufacturing, Local & Global Procurement, External Suppliers, Master Production Scheduler, Quality, Warehouse, Logistics)
* Collaboration on projects within Materials Management in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
* Data analysis and interpretation, definition of corrective actions
* Application of LPS methodology in order to strive for continuous improvement
* Capability to participate in design process for new ERP system
Must Haves:
* Bachelor degree or equivalent in a Supply Chain Discipline, Business Administration or Business Informatics
* 3+ years in Supply Chain business, preferably in pharma industry
* SAP ERP landscape knowledge (SAP MM transactions)
* Self-directed individual with strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
* Passion for teamwork and continuous improvement
* Agile mindset and a fast learner
* Fluent German and English is a MUST
Nice to Have:
* APICS certification (or equivalent) are a strong plus
