Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced, strategic, and driven Group Manager to lead our talented Global Peripheral Vascular Intervention (PVI) Product Management team. This role will oversee a team of Product Managers and be responsible for shaping global product, portfolio, and marketing strategies across the PVI portfolio. This highly visible position requires strong expertise in strategic marketing and full-stream product management, proven people leadership, and the ability to communicate clearly and compellingly with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and Key Opinion Leaders. This role is based in our Bülach, Switzerland office.
Principal Responsibilities
Manage, coach, and develop a highly capable team of Global Product Managers
Lead and actively participate in the product management of PVI products, serving as a subject matter expert. Own end-to-end product lifecycle management, including market assessments, business case development, product launches, post-market surveillance, and phase-out planning to ensure sustained market relevance and profitability
Shape product, portfolio, and marketing strategies for the PVI business, and oversee marketing plans and lifecycle management. Identify growth opportunities and inform investment decisions
Develop and manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). Structure, collect, and interpret voice of customer (VOC) input to identify unmet clinical needs and define market requirements
Drive product development and improvements throughout the product lifecycle. Take responsibility for product profitability and new product pipeline opportunities
Support the creation of marketing initiatives and campaigns to drive the Teleflex Peripheral Intervention portfolio in a highly competitive global environment
Partner with cross-functional teams including global and regional Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, Clinical Affairs, Sales, Supply Chain, and Legal to realize product concepts, bring them to market, and drive alignment of priorities across the PVI portfolio
Contribute to broader strategic initiatives
Lead and support other projects and initiatives as assigned
Education / Experience Requirements
A minimum of 3 years’ experience leading a team in an international environment
Strong strategic marketing skills, including 8+ years of product management, marketing, or strategy experience in peripheral intervention or a related medical device space
Experience in new product development and a track record of successful product launches
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Engineering or Life Sciences) or Business/Marketing; advanced degree preferred
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
Ability to develop and implement clinical and economic value propositions
Ability to build and manage relationships with KOLs
Ability to translate customer insights into actionable product and commercial strategy
Ability to communicate in a clear and compelling way with senior leadership teams
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Excellent presentation and communication skills, with strong planning, critical thinking, and coaching abilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working in a complex clinical environment
Self-motivated, with a strong track record of meeting goals, budgets, and deadlines
A collaborative and proactive mindset, eager to both lead and roll up one’s sleeves to execute
