Role & Responsibilities
The role of the Junior Manager Product Compliance PLB entails several areas of responsibilities
1. Operational Product Compliance Support
- Support the implementation of PLB product compliance requirements across assigned product categories.
- Assist in applying applicable product safety and compliance legislation (e.g. General Products, PPE, Toys, Electrical Products) in line with internal guidelines.
- Support senior colleagues in translating regulatory requirements into practical execution within PLB processes.
- Contribute to early identification of compliance risks and escalation to senior team members.
2. Compliance Documentation & Traceability
- Support the review, completeness, and consistency of product compliance documentation (e.g. test reports, declarations, technical documentation).
- Assist in maintaining documentation standards, traceability requirements, and audit readiness.
- Support the lifecycle management of compliance documentation for assigned products.
- Follow up on missing or incorrect documentation in coordination with internal stakeholders.
3. Compliance Controls & Risk Support
- Support category‑specific compliance checks and control activities under guidance of senior colleagues (e.g. review of product markings, packaging and user instructions).
- Assist in preparing inputs for compliance risk assessments and internal reviews.
- Support incident assessments and corrective actions, following defined escalation and decision frameworks.
4. Regulatory Monitoring & Best Practices
- Support monitoring of applicable product compliance legislation and related updates.
- Assist in maintaining internal compliance materials, guidelines, and reference documents.
- Contribute to the identification of recurring issues and improvement opportunities.
5. Data & Documentation Governance
- Support product compliance documentation and data governance by ensuring quality, completeness, traceability, and audit readiness of assigned documentation.
- Apply and follow defined documentation standards and templates consistently across assigned products and categories.
- Support monitoring of documentation quality and data integrity, and flag gaps, inconsistencies, or recurring issues to senior team members.
- Contribute to improvements in documentation processes, tools, and workflows in collaboration with PLB Compliance colleagues.
- Support governance routines related to documentation and reporting by maintaining accurate records and structured filing.
6. Reporting & Transparency
- Support compliance‑related reporting activities, including data collection, plausibility checks, and coordination of inputs.
- Contribute to CSRD‑related and other regulatory reporting by supporting data preparation, documentation and reporting templates.
- Maintain accurate records of reporting inputs and supporting documentation.
- Support senior colleagues in preparing summaries, status updates, and reporting drafts.
8. Training & Awareness
- Support preparation and maintenance of training materials related to product compliance topics.
- Participate in (internal) trainings to build product compliance knowledge and regulatory understanding.
- Support communication of compliance requirements to internal stakeholders through defined channels.
9. Continuous Improvement
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to documentation quality, process clarity, and compliance execution.
- Contribute to feedback loops on tools, templates, and workflows used within PLB Compliance.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Skills/Knowledge – Compliance specific
- Basic understanding of (EU) product compliance and product safety requirements.
- Familiarity with compliance documentation, testing, and traceability principles.
- Ability to follow regulatory requirements and internal guidelines accurately.
- Interest in regulatory developments and structured compliance work.
- Basic understanding of production processes and how they relate to product safety and compliance requirements.
Skills/Knowledge – General

- High level of self‑initiative and ownership within the assigned scope, with the ability to proactively identify tasks, follow up independently, and drive topics forward under guidance.
