Unilabs is one of Europe's leading diagnostics groups—processing over 237 million diagnostic tests annually
across 14 countries. Unilabs.AI (ULAI) is a standalone, seed-stage company venture-backed by Unilabs and A.P.
Møller Holding, built to turn this massive legacy infrastructure into a structured, queryable, real-time clinical data
asset.
Core Responsibilities
1. The Hunt: Origination & Pipeline Building
-
Targeted Prospecting: Systematically map the global Biopharma landscape (especially in Rare Diseases,
Targeted Oncology, and Immunology) to identify active Phase 2b/3 pipelines that are bottlenecked by patient
recruitment.
-
Evangelizing the ULAI Dragnet: Secure high-level meetings with VPs of Clinical Operations, Heads of RWD,
and Clinical Development Leaders. Pitch the unique value of our multi-modal OS infrastructure and prove how
we can intercept their exact inclusion/exclusion criteria upstream.
-
Network Leverage: Utilize your existing rolodex within Biopharma to fast-track conversations, bypassing
standard procurement layers to engage directly with the clinical decision-makers feeling the pain of delayed
trials.
2. Complex Deal Execution
-
Solution Architecture: Work with Pharma sponsors to define the exact diagnostic footprint required (e.g.,
combining imaging findings with declining kidney function for rare disease profiles) and translate that into a
commercial data/recruitment contract.
-
Closing: Own the end-to-end sales cycle. Negotiate complex SaaS, RWD licensing, and milestone-based
clinical recruitment contracts from initial MSA through to final signature.
3. Alliance Management & Delivery
-
The Clinical Bridge: You don't just sell the deal and walk away. You will serve as the Alliance Manager, bridging
the gap between the Pharma sponsor's clinical teams and ULAI’s internal engineering and clinical informatics
teams.
-
Execution Oversight: Ensure that the data pipelines and screening algorithms we deploy actually yield the
patient volumes and RWD quality promised in the contract.
-
Account Expansion: Once a pilot rare disease dragnet proves successful, leverage that internal Pharma
champion to expand ULAI's contracts across their broader therapeutic portfolio.
Requirements
-
The Hunter Mentality: You are deeply uncomfortable with an empty calendar. You are relentless, resilient, and
view pipeline generation as the most critical part of your day.
-
Domain Fluency: You speak the language of clinical trials, real-world evidence, and targeted therapeutics. You
understand what Phase 2a vs. Phase 3 requires, what a synthetic control arm is, and why recruiting for a rare
genetic disease is a nightmare.
-
Track Record: 5–10+ years of quota-carrying BD experience selling RWD, complex CRO services, genomic
testing, or tech-enabled clinical trial solutions directly to Biopharma. You have a documented history of closing
complex, large-scale deals.
-
Autonomy & Grit: You thrive in a seed-stage, fast-moving environment. You do not need a massive marketing
department to generate a pitch deck; you build the narrative, find the target, and close the deal.
-
Language: Fluent English is mandatory; professional proficiency in French or German is highly advantageous.
Benefits
-
Hybrid working model (office & remote flexibility)
-
International, collaborative, and regulated product environment
-
Competitive compensation and benefits
-
Long-term ownership of a strategic healthcare product
-
Unmatched Product-Market Fit: You are selling access to Europe's largest, highly protected, multi-modal
diagnostic pool—a proprietary asset that no standard software company or CRO can replicate.
-
True Entrepreneurial Ownership: The execution speed and equity upside of a venture-backed
standalone startup, powered by the operational footprint of Unilabs and A.P. Møller Holding.
