We seek highly motivated students interested in gaining research experience at the research Methods in Developmental and Educational Sciences Lab. The employment ist paid on an hourly basis.
The position to be filled is within a collaborative research project of the Institute of Education (Prof. Dr. Martin J. Tomasik) and the Psychological Institute (Prof. Dr. Charles Driver) funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF).
Main task consists of supporting projects involving programming and data Analysis skills (Python, R, and Git/GitHub). Varied challenges await you in our team, such as supporting us with data collection activities, and machine learning analyses (e.g., exploratory data analysis, statistics, deep learning).
Excellent programming skills (prior projects and working experience) are required. Experience in Deep Learning (e.g., GNNs, Pytorch) is an advantage. Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of German is a plus. Good to have good organizational skills.
