DIAMOND SA is an internationally active company that develops, manufactures, and distributes high-precision fiber optic components worldwide. We offer our customers customized technical solutions and are committed to quality, innovation, and customer service.

In recent years, DIAMOND SA has developed new products in the field of fiber optic technology and is constantly seeking new suppliers who can guarantee delivery times and the quality of raw materials and semi-finished products.

To strengthen our purchasing team, we are looking for a dedicated and confident individual to serve as a Technical Purchaser (m/f).

What are your main tasks?

Your main responsibilities include:

Purchasing mechanical components
Establishing, evaluating, and developing supplier relationships
Identifying, selecting, and evaluating suppliers for new products as part of new development projects (strategic purchasing)
Independently conducting price and contract negotiations
Identifying and implementing cost optimization and savings opportunities
Conducting supplier evaluations through audits in collaboration with the quality manager

What you bring to the role

Completed technical education with advanced qualifications at the HTL engineering level or equivalent
Experience in purchasing and strategic procurement in an international environment
Fluency in German and English
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and proficiency in MS Office
