The opportunity
Our local Insulation & Components product group is the technical market leader in the development and manufacture of transformer bushings. We work with renowned international companies in the fields of energy generation, transmission, and distribution. Our high-voltage bushings are among the best in the world. As a production engineer, you will play a key role in increasing operational efficiency, ensuring the highest quality standards, and leading groundbreaking projects that will shape the future of our production.
How you’ll make an impact
Ensuring maximum plant availability through close cooperation with maintenance and suppliers
Leading projects to optimize throughput times and reduce quality-related costs
Conducting pilot studies to define optimal process parameters and promote continuous improvement
Taking the lead in commissioning new processes and equipment, including defining action plans and training for maintenance and production teams
Evaluating innovative process technologies to improve quality, productivity, and cost efficiency
Investigating process deviations and implementing effective corrective measures
You will actively contribute to the digitalization of production and increasing automation
Leading industrialization projects from planning to successful implementation
Your background
Completed technical degree (ETH/FH) in production sciences (MTEC), electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automation technology, or a comparable field
Solid professional experience in the mechanization and automation of production processes and systems, as well as knowledge of high-voltage technology, are an advantage
Experience in technical documentation and work planning to ensure smooth operations
Extensive knowledge in the application of quality methods and tools (e.g., 8D, Ishikawa, moderation techniques)
Very good German language skills (spoken and written) and English language skills at C1 level to operate in an international environment
Confident manner and strong communication and leadership skills to motivate and inspire teams
