About the team you are joining
Reporting to the Executive Director of the Cargo iQ organization, an IATA Interest Group, you will be part of a small multitasking team that is delivering projects to strengthen Cargo iQ’s Quality and performance management framework within the air cargo supply chain. You will work with the diverse stakeholders of the membership organizations and industry associations.
What your day would be like
Coordinate and manage process related documentation for the Cargo iQ Performance management framework
Manage the change request pipeline for the process and specification changes and plan the yearly update cycle of the process documentation and facilitate its review with members and industry bodies.
Coordinate and manage sub-working group activities in close coordination with respective chairs
Scope, lead the development of new Cargo iQ projects and improvements of concepts to increase cross-stakeholder performance management, specifically with forwarders
Facilitate workshops and challenge the status quo with your industry experience and seek opportunities to improve industry processes across organizational silos and member organizations, such as airlines, forwarders, ground handling companies, IT related organizations.
Develop and maintain documentation to present, train and support implementation of new concepts, business scenarios e.g. MOP, training materials, best practice and deliver Cargo iQ trainings.
Organize and manage Cargo iQ Working Groups conferences and coordinate the different sessions and foster collaboration across members. Conduct testing activities and provide technical support to Cargo iQ members
Support the creation of content for social media updates, communication, marketing campaigns, presentation material
Support the Members’ Roadmap implementation including data-driven improvement initiatives
Support member systemic onboarding and facilitate the kick-off and development member’s implementation roadmap, track implementation and provide consultancy.
Guide members in the analyses of performance data, processes, and systems to uncover root causes for deviations and develop corrective and preventive actions
Work closely with members and the cargo iQ team to identify implementation hurdles and develop systemic approaches for its resolution
Represent Cargo iQ in relevant industry forums and prospect for potential members with to support new business development activities
Support the team in the further definition of tiers and quality metrics, reporting and views to support data-driven assessment
Take responsibility for delivery of relevant Cargo iQ targets and support Cargo iQ’s strategy projects and activities as agreed with Cargo iQ Director
We would love to hear from you if
University degree in business administration or Logistics.
5 year of Air Freight experience, and specifically with operational knowledge.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Business Analyst or Process Improvement role, preferably at a forwarder.
Strong project management track record with demonstrated delivery success.
Ability to act as a facilitator, analytical with ability to conceptualize, to break up complexity and translate it into operational language and procedures.
Results-driven self-starter with a proven ability to take initiative and deliver outcomes independently.
Basic data manipulation and programming skills in SQL/Python and Excel.
Fluent in English, and any other language would be an asset.
Willingness to travel up to 40 %
