What You’ll Do:
- Language Magic: Deliver and enhance an educational program teaching English as an additional language to non-native English-speaking children aged 4-8 using fun, interactive, and age-appropriate methods.
- Preschool Explorations: Independently teach a preschool class to children aged 2-4 by creating a warm and welcoming classroom environment that sparks joy and curiosity.
- Creative Learning: Use a variety of educational techniques like storytelling, educational play, structure, crafts, and fine/gross motor activities.
- Skill Building: Guide children to develop their artistic, practical, and language capabilities.
- Social Stars: Help children improve their social competencies, resolve conflicts, and build self-esteem.
- Safety First: Supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times and to practice sound hygiene practices
- Progress Tracking: Observe and evaluate the children’s progress, providing feedback and support to help each child shine.
- Team Spirit: Collaborate as part of an international team to ensure the best educational experience for our students.
You are our ideal candidate if you are:
- A native English speaker with a passion for teaching.
- A qualified preschool or primary school teacher, or have a relevant child-development qualification.
- Experienced in working with children, including non-native English-speaking children.
- A positive, caring and patient attitude
- Residing in Switzerland and a valid work permit
Working Hours:
- Two afternoons per week: Tuesday and Friday.
- One morning per week: Thursday.
- Substitution when needed.
