The Swiss Battery Technology Center (SBTC) drives applied R&D in energy production and storage, offering prototyping, testing, and innovation services. SBTC’s focus is on sustainable solutions, including second-life and recycling of lithium-ion batteries, to extend product lifecycles and promote circular economy principles. This position is carried out in close collaboration with the Japanese-Swiss start-up Green Science Alliance (GSA), which specializes in sustainable direct recycling processes for end-of-life lithium-ion batteries
