About the Position
A private family based in Chêne-Bougeries, Geneva, is looking for a reliable, experienced and discreet Full-Time Housekeeper to take responsibility for the day-to-day upkeep and smooth running of their home.
This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in maintaining a home to a high standard, is well organised and enjoys creating a clean, tidy and welcoming environment.
The ideal candidate will be fluent in French and English, although strong proficiency in one language combined with a good understanding of the other may also be considered.
Main Responsibilities

Full responsibility for the general cleaning and upkeep of the home

Dusting, vacuuming, mopping and maintaining all living areas to a high standard

Laundry, including washing, drying, folding and carefully organising clothes and household linens

Professional ironing and care of garments

Keeping wardrobes, cupboards and household areas neat and well organised

Ensuring the home is consistently tidy and presentable

Changing bed linen and maintaining bedrooms and bathrooms

Monitoring household supplies and informing the family when items need to be replenished

Helping with shopping or other household errands when required

Assisting with practical day-to-day tasks that contribute to the smooth running of the household

Being attentive to the family's needs and taking initiative without always needing to be instructed

Maintaining a discreet, respectful and professional presence within the home
