About the Family
A warm and welcoming family is looking for an experienced and dedicated Nanny to care for their baby, who will be 6 months old when the position starts in January 2027.
The family is looking for someone who will take an active role in the baby's development, learning and education, creating a stimulating and nurturing environment through age-appropriate activities, games and daily routines.
Responsibilities

Providing attentive and nurturing care for the baby

Supporting the baby's physical, emotional and cognitive development

Planning and organising age-appropriate activities and early-learning games

Encouraging the baby's curiosity, independence and development through play

Establishing and maintaining a consistent daily routine

Preparing and giving bottles and meals as appropriate for the baby's age

Managing the baby's laundry and keeping their belongings organised

Maintaining a clean, safe and stimulating environment for the baby

Taking the baby outdoors for walks and age-appropriate activities

Accompanying the baby to appointments and activities when required

Communicating regularly with the parents regarding the baby's routine, development and progress

Supporting the family with other childcare-related tasks as needed

Requirements

Previous professional experience as a Nanny, ideally with babies and young children

Fluent English

Portuguese-speaking is a strong advantage

A genuine interest in early childhood development and education

Driving licence required

Comfortable around dogs, the family has two small dogs

Reliable, responsible, warm and proactive personality

EU passport or valid Swiss work permit required
