Introduction
As Procurement Lead for our Villeret manufacturing site, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliable, compliant, and cost-effective supply of goods and services that support our operations. Acting as the primary procurement business partner to the site leadership team, you will connect global procurement strategies with local execution, helping drive operational excellence, product innovation, and regulatory compliance.
This is a highly visible role within the Villeret Site Leadership Team, offering the opportunity to collaborate across Operations, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Global Procurement while making a direct impact on manufacturing performance and business success.
Your Role
As Procurement Lead, you will:
Business Partnering & Operational Support

Serve as the primary procurement partner to the Villeret Site Leadership Team.
- Support production priorities by ensuring a secure and reliable supply of materials and services.
- Identify and mitigate supply risks to maintain operational continuity.
- Contribute to site performance objectives and key operational metrics.
Supplier Management & Performance

Manage strategic supplier relationships and performance.
- Monitor and improve supplier delivery, quality, and cost performance.
- Lead supplier issue resolution and recovery planning when required.
- Foster collaborative partnerships that support long-term business goals.
Quality & Regulatory Compliance

Ensure procurement activities align with quality management system requirements and applicable regulations.
- Support supplier audits, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and change control processes.
- Maintain procurement documentation and audit readiness.
Product Lifecycle & Engineering Collaboration

Partner with Engineering and cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and product changes.
- Contribute to design-to-cost initiatives and sourcing strategies.
- Ensure supplier readiness for industrialization and production scaling.
Cost Management & Procurement Excellence

Deliver sustainable cost savings and value-creation initiatives.
- Execute global procurement strategies at site level.
- Provide transparent reporting and tracking of procurement performance.
- Support procurement transformation initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Build strong partnerships with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Global Procurement teams.
- Act as a key link between site requirements and global procurement priorities.
Your Profile
Must-Have Qualifications

Master's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- Significant experience in procurement within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing supplier relationships and driving supplier performance.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and regulated manufacturing environments.
- Experience supporting product lifecycle management (PLM), product changes, or new product introductions.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Ability to analyze complex situations, prioritize effectively, and drive results.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Experience within medical devices, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries.
- Experience leading procurement transformation or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 or comparable quality standards.
