The Global Product Manager is responsible for the managing, planning and execution of the entire product life cycle of the specified brand/product offering from strategic planning to tactical activities.
He/she is responsible for working cross functionally with all areas of the company, communicating with Product Development to define product release requirements, with marketing communications & sales to define the go-to-market strategy and with other Business Units to recognize potential synergies.
He/she will provide the content in regard to the right product positioning, key benefits and training programs aimed at the target customer segment.
He/she will serve as the internal and external enthusiast for the product offering, working with the global marketing & sales to promote the portfolio across regions and with key customers.
The Sr. Global Product Manager Implants is responsible for the implants in the Nobel Biocare portfolio. This portfolio includes:
NobelReplace, Replace Select
The specific split in portfolio responsibilites within the PM Implants team is defined with the team members based on business needs and available resources.
Product Life Cycle Management:
Manages the entire product life cycle folllowing the PLCM process framework.
Develops and implements a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments and regions to execute
Successful & timely launch and follow-up of new products acc. to the ITM process framework
Customer Needs & Requirements:
Understands customer segmentation and their changing needs and requirements
Gathers and prioritizes product and customer requirements
Planning, synchronization and coordination of Expert Advisory Board Meetings
Defines the product strategy and portfolio roadmap and develops and revises respective plans on an annual basis following the PPM process frame work
Ensures the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals following the defined “must wins”.
Works with external 3rd parties to assess partnerships & licensing opportunities
Cross Functional Influence Management:
Works closely with Global Sales & Customer Development, T&E, Product Development, Operations and Regulatory Affairs to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met
Identifies, briefs and manages key internal/external speakers for PR and media events
An expert with respect to the competition to facilitate an accurate value proposition
Analysis of global sales of the specified brand/product offering
Clear understanding of global, regional or local dynamics affecting sales

Solid education in Marketing or Product Management
BA/BSc or equivalent, MA/MSc an advantage
