Job Summary
HCLTech is supporting one of Switzerland’s most respected private banking institutions — globally recognised for excellence in wealth management and financial discretion — in a major, enterprise-wide digital transformation programme. We are seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer with 6+ years in IT operations or application support, ideally within banking or financial services. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring the stability, readiness, and reliability of critical application environments across Development, SIT, UAT, and non-production systems. You’ll operate within a structured, high-integrity environment where precision, compliance, and client confidentiality are paramount. Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure Timely Resolution And Quality Compliance Of Escalated Tickets And Incidents By Leveraging Jenkins And Powershell To Automate Workflows And Streamline Processes In Accordance With Sla Requirements.
2. Mentor Team Members And Administrators In Best Practices For Using Ansible And Python, While Preparing Standard Operating Procedures (Sops) And Maintaining Comprehensive Documentation For Knowledge Sharing.
3. Validate Change Order Implementation Plans And Human Error Compliance By Utilizing Powershell Scripts For Automation, And Actively Participate In Capacity Planning Discussions To Optimize Resource Allocation.
4. Foster Positive Customer Feedback And Satisfaction By Engaging In Customer Meetings, Utilizing Effective Communication Skills To Understand And Address Issues Using Automation Tools.
5. Validate And Present Analyses Such As Root Cause Analysis And Trend Analysis Using Python And Powershell, Facilitating Performance Improvement Discussions With Key Business Stakeholders.

2. Solid Experience With Ansible And Python For Scripting And Automation Tasks.
