Die Position
The Global Supply Chain Operations Organization seamlessly connects markets to the global manufacturing network by centrally managing supply, inventory and replenishment planning for drug products. We orchestrate the value streams between sites and affiliates by balancing the demand and supply equations across markets, products, manufacturing assets and inventory points. We ensure right first time order fulfillment and delivery of drug products everywhere and anytime in the global network.
As a Customer Logistics Manager you trade and deliver Drug Product (DP) and Finished Products (FG) to 3rd party customer markets. This includes the on-time and in-full supply of products and required documents worldwide. You will oversee supply chain activities to ensure we meet our service goals. You will be responsible to ensure world class service levels and right-to-operate and to implement supply chain strategies that successfully deliver our innovative medicines to 3rd party customers and patients. This is a key role within the end-to-end supply chain operating model that interacts with local and global stakeholders.

The Opportunity
- Ensure global market supply to third party customers on time in full at the right quality and cost, overseeing successful supply out of FHLR (F. Hoffmann LaRoche Switzerland).
- Partner with interfaces and stakeholders for upstream replenishment coordination from central packaging site incl. exception management and adjusting Replenishment Plans based on market changes.
- Continuously improve the cost-to-serve-model, own oversight of the order to cash process (depending on finance model), and manage operational issues in a GxP compliant way.
- Check and amend (if needed) contracts (Tenders) incl. establishing and monitoring KPI metrics.
- Leverage data for decision making using analytics, simulation tools, customer insights, and drive efficiency through technology and data.
- Contribute to supply chain design, support implementation of supply solutions to meet customer requirements, and ensure appropriate supply chain set-up (incl. master data).
- Monitor stock and shelflife of the Direct Market materials, in-line with the life cycle status of the product/portfolio.
- Coordinate supply chain risk management plan (e.g. financial and operations).
Who You are
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management (or a related field)OR 5+ years of hands-on supply chain experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- You have a deep understanding of the distribution environment (transportation, customs and health authority regulations, GXP, country(s) infrastructure)
- You are strong communicator and connector between the Business, Finance, Quality, Regulatory and Supply Chain teams
- You are capable to translate the future healthcare landscape changes to supply chain challenges and opportunities (i.e. participate in the design future proof end to end supply chain solutions)
- You are business proficient in English ( a must ), other languages are a plus
