Your Responsibilities
- Perform and assist in a wide range of vascular diagnostic procedures
- Conduct and interpret vascular ultrasound examinations, including:
o Carotid duplex ultrasound (stenosis, plaque, stroke risk)
o Peripheral arterial duplex (PAD, aneurysms)
o Venous duplex studies (DVT, venous insufficiency)
o Venous reflux and compression studies
o Abdominal, renal, and mesenteric artery imaging
- Measure ankle-brachial index (ABI) and segmental pressures
- Utilize plethysmography techniques to assess circulation
- Carry out and evaluate capillary microscopy
- Operate and maintain advanced ultrasound and Doppler equipment
- Accurately document and analyze findings in compliance with clinical standards
- Collaborate closely with angiologists and interventional specialists
- Provide real-time imaging support during vascular procedures
- Ensure high-quality patient care and communication throughout examinationsYour Profile
- Degree or diploma in Vascular Technology or a related field
- Completion of an accredited vascular program
- Certification and/or licensure (as applicable)
- Proven experience in vascular ultrasound diagnostics
- Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy, hemodynamics, and pathology
- Proficiency in ultrasound and diagnostic imaging equipment
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Good physical stamina for prolonged procedures
Language Skills:
- German and French required
