About the role
As a volunteer Blogger/ Creative Writer, you'll be responsible for writing 2-3 high-quality articles per month for our website's blog section. You'll work collaboratively with our SEO Consultants and our Blog Editor to ensure that the content is optimized for search engines and aligned with best practices.
You'll also work closely with our Linguistics team to gather information and guidelines for the articles and collaborate with our Google Ad Specialist to identify relevant topics and keywords.
This is a remote, volunteer position that requires excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating content that inspires and informs. You should be able to commit approximately 4-8 hours per week to this role.
Responsibilities
- Write high-quality articles and texts for the organization's website and newsletter
- Collaborate with the SEO Consultants to ensure content is optimized for search engines and aligned with best practices
- Work closely with the Linguistics team to gather information and guidelines for articles
- Collaborate with the Google Ad Specialist to identify relevant topics and keywords
- Ensure that all content meets the organization's standards for quality, accuracy, and tone
- Use web content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML to publish and format blog posts
- Attend team meetings and communicate effectively with other team members
Qualifications
- Excellent writing skills and experience with content creation
- Understanding SEO best practices and how to write optimized content is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Knowledge of web content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML would be a plus.
