RigiTech is looking for a passionate Logistics and Operations Intern to join our Customer Success team. This essential role is focused on establishing and optimizing all logistics processes related to the shipment and repatriation of spare parts, thereby ensuring smooth and efficient international customer support.
This role requires excellent organisational skills, a proactive mindset, a “get-things-done” attitude, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in logistics, supply chain management, and an ability to navigate customs regulations.
We tailor-design each internship based on the candidate’s skills, academic background, and personal objectives. The internship will primarily focus on the following areas:
- Logistics Processes and Customs Flows:
- Analyze existing logistics processes for parts shipment/repatriation and standardize them to create a clear and optimized workflow.
- Define and implement clear, efficient logistics procedures for customer support.
- Understand customs requirements for various international flows (exports, imports, returns) in terms of required documentation.
- Draft standardized documents and/or document templates for various customs procedures, including specific and complex cases.
- Partnership and Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and define the optimal logistics partners (carriers) to use, taking into account geographical specificities and regulatory constraints.
- Conduct an analysis to optimize the customs and transport-related tax implications.
- Act as a true Logistics Manager within a real-world application case at RigiTech.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure that performance and compliance standards are met across all logistics operations.
- The proactive use of AI tools is encouraged when applied with a professional and rigorous engineering mindset to streamline workflows and solve complex problems.
- Qualifications:
- BSc or MSc in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- A valid driving license is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Other languages (especially EU languages like French or Spanish) are a strong plus.
- Prior experience or knowledge of customs processes and international transport is a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Highly organized, independent, and detail-oriented.
- Happy to take initiative and come up with your own ideas.
- Flexible and adaptable to the ever-changing demands of a startup environment.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a very fast-paced environment.
