About the Role:
Geneva is recognized as one of Europe’s leading international business and regulatory hubs, and at Sicurezza Lavoro Consulting Group, we help organizations navigate complex compliance environments with confidence. We partner with multinational companies, industrial operators, healthcare groups, and enterprise clients to strengthen governance, reduce operational risk, and build sustainable compliance strategies across international markets.
We are looking for a Senior Compliance and Risk Management Director who can lead enterprise-wide compliance initiatives while shaping the long-term governance framework of the organization. This is not a back-office monitoring role. You will serve as a strategic leader who works closely with executive management, operational teams, and external stakeholders to identify risks before they become problems and build systems that support long-term growth and accountability.
You will oversee compliance operations across multiple business units, mentor a high-performing team, and drive company-wide initiatives related to regulatory standards, operational controls, internal audits, and corporate ethics.
Why Work With Us?
The Environment:
Our Geneva office is designed for collaboration, focus, and executive-level decision-making. We believe high-performing professionals do their best work in an environment that supports strategic thinking, innovation, and clear communication.
Leadership Visibility:
Compliance and risk management are central to our business strategy. You will work directly with senior leadership and play a key role in major operational and governance decisions from day one.
International Exposure:
You will collaborate with clients and stakeholders across multiple industries and regions, giving you exposure to diverse regulatory frameworks and complex operational environments.
Professional Growth:
We invest heavily in leadership development, executive coaching, and industry education. You will have access to international conferences, compliance seminars, and advanced certification support to keep your expertise ahead of market changes.
Long Term Stability:
We are focused on sustainable growth, operational excellence, and building long-term client partnerships. Our leadership team values professionals who can create scalable systems and lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Risk Strategy:
Develop and lead the company’s enterprise risk management framework. Identify operational, legal, financial, and regulatory risks while implementing preventive controls and mitigation strategies.
Compliance Leadership:
Oversee company-wide compliance programs to ensure alignment with Swiss and international regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards.
Governance and Policy Development:
Establish and maintain governance procedures, compliance documentation, internal controls, and reporting structures that support organizational accountability and transparency.
Audit and Investigation Oversight:
Lead internal audits, compliance reviews, and investigations related to operational risk, regulatory matters, and corporate policy adherence.
Cross Functional Collaboration:
Partner with executive leadership, legal teams, finance departments, and operational managers to integrate compliance practices into everyday business operations.
Team Management:
Lead and mentor compliance analysts, risk specialists, and department managers. Create a culture focused on accountability, ethical decision-making, and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Communication:
Present risk assessments, compliance reports, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, external partners, and regulatory stakeholders.
Regulatory Monitoring:
Stay informed about evolving Swiss and international regulations, ensuring proactive implementation of policy updates and operational adjustments.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
10+ years of experience in compliance, governance, enterprise risk management, or regulatory operations, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role.
Industry Background:
Experience working within consulting, finance, healthcare, industrial operations, corporate services, or multinational business environments is highly preferred.
Leadership Skills:
Strong experience leading cross-functional teams, managing high-level stakeholders, and driving strategic organizational initiatives.
Technical Knowledge:
Deep understanding of corporate governance, compliance frameworks, audit processes, operational risk assessment, and regulatory reporting standards.
Communication:
Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex regulatory concepts for executive and operational teams.
Problem Solving:
You are analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of making confident decisions in fast-moving business environments.
Language Skills:
English fluency is required. French or Italian language skills are considered a strong advantage for regional stakeholder engagement.
Mindset:
You are proactive, strategic, and solutions-oriented. You understand how to balance regulatory requirements with practical business operations while maintaining the highest ethical standards.
