Die Position
The Pharma Technical Operations (PT) involves a range of activities, from Supply Chain to Regulatory Affairs to Finance to People& Culture. Click here to find out the range of departments involved, as well as previous projects worked on. This internship will be in the space of the PTS Pharma Supply Chain and Product Strategy.
Included in the internship will be training on the basic concepts of the work done in the respective departments. The interns will also be able to take advantage of Roche resources on subjects such as interviewing, making presentations, time management, and more. For this internship, we are looking into a more specific and focused scope of supply chain management.
We are seeking a motivated intern to join the Pharma International Supply Chain (PTSR) organization. This role focuses on supporting the Affiliate Demand Review Process as a critical component of our Sales& Operations Planning (S) initiative.
The opportunity
You will help bridge the gap between local market needs and global supply chain orchestration, ensuring that the "voice of the affiliate" is heard and acted upon. Furthermore, you will
- Support the creation and maintenance of standardized process maps and training materials for the Affiliate Demand Review.
- Develop automated methods (potentially exploring AI applications) to consolidate demand insights, Risks, and Opportunities (R) from various global affiliates.
- Ensure consolidated insights are effectively shared back with affiliates to close the communication loop.
- Help identify and prepare critical R for escalation to the Global Demand Review Meeting (gDRM).
Who you are
You arecurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. In addition, you have
- Technical Savvy: Strong proficiency in Microsoft/Google applications (Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint). Experience with ERP systems or an interest in AI/Automation is a plus.
- Business Acumen: A high interest in demand planning, finance and healthcare strategy.
- Proactive mindset: We are looking for team players who think outside the box, share their ideas, and are eager to find new solutions to complex challenges.

- It is not possible to write a thesis during the internship.
