About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie for our Hot Kitchen, specializing in Western/French Cuisine, starting from 12.06.2026. You will be responsible for managing a specific section of the hot kitchen, ensuring that all Western-style dishes for our commercial airline partners are prepared with precision, excellence, and efficiency.
Annual gross salary: CHF 60,000–66,000 (including 13th month), negotiable depending on experience.
Responsibilities
· Manage and oversee the preparation and cooking of hot Western/French dishes according to set recipes and airline standards.
· Supervise Commis de Cuisine and Kitchen Helpers in the hot kitchen section.
· Ensure all food items are stored correctly and rotated according to food safety standards (FIFO).
· Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times.
· Strictly adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations (HACCP).
· Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in developing and testing new hot kitchen recipes.
· Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients for the hot kitchen.
· Ensure consistency in portion control and plating for large-scale airline production.
Requirements
· Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior Commis (2+ years) in a Western/French kitchen; airline catering experience is a plus.
· Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification from a recognized culinary school.
· Strong foundation in French culinary techniques (sauces, roasting, sautéing).
· Solid knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. (HACCP)
· Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
· Highly organized, efficient, and able to manage a team under pressure.
· Flexible and adaptable, with willingness to work different shifts (early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays).
· Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
