ANYbotics is a fast-growing tech company dedicated to shaping the future of mobile robotics across multiple industries. Join our highly talented and motivated team of more than 190 people and work on cutting-edge robot technology. We are open to internships all year round and post regularly.
We’re always looking for passionate, curious, and motivated interns to join our mission.
This is your chance to collaborate with world-class experts, gain real-world experience, and make meaningful contributions in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment.
We are looking for a structured and detail-oriented PDM Intern to help build the digital backbone of our autonomous robotic systems. As we scale our product data, document control, and change-management practices, you will play a hands-on role in strengthening our engineering records and preparing our systems for future Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) adoption. This is not a theoretical side project—you will work on critical, real-world operational needs at the intersection of engineering, industrialization, quality, and certification. You will directly impact our readiness for regulatory audits (such as ATEX/IECEx) by transforming fragmented engineering documentation into controlled, searchable, and audit-ready product data.
ANYbotics transforms industrial plants in the energy, process, and utility sector by introducing robotics to a wide range of novel applications that so far were beyond reach. Our customers are large asset operators and industrial service providers pioneering the use of robotics technology for inspection and maintenance. Our mobile robot ANYmal uses legs for extreme mobility in complex environments, camera- and LIDAR-based sensing for full autonomy and obstacle avoidance, and AI for high-quality and consistent inspection results. We develop numerous customized hardware systems, including the entire robotic platform, actuators, sensors, inspection payloads, charging systems, and all related ANYbotics mechanical hardware.
- Support the PDM-Extend rollout by onboarding CAD data and non-CAD documents into SolidWorks PDM, including cable drawings, test protocols, specifications, and compliance evidence
- Prepare, clean, and validate metadata for controlled document records, ensuring accurate tracking of document types, owners, statuses, and revisions
- Assist in testing and documenting PDM workflows for draft, review, approval, release, and revision-control scenarios
- Help build migration-ready datasets and folder/document structures that will be reused for future PLM implementation and vendor evaluation
- Evaluate and participate in the Polarion Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Proof of Concept (PoC) according to our system architecture framework
- Create lightweight user support materials, including simple work instructions, screenshots, and known-issue logs for engineering, quality, and certification teams
- Currently studying mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, systems engineering, product lifecycle management, engineering management, robotics, mechatronics, or a related technical field
- Structured and detail-oriented working style with a high comfort level handling engineering documents, metadata, lists, and folder structures
- Basic understanding of CAD/PDM or engineering document-control concepts, with an eagerness to learn SolidWorks PDM quickly if not already familiar
- Strong ownership of repetitive but critical data-quality work, with the ability to follow defined rules and flag inconsistencies proactively
- Good communication skills in English and a collaborative mindset to coordinate effectively with engineering, industrialization, certification, quality, and IT stakeholders
- Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets for data cleanup, including familiarity with lookup tables, structured lists, basic formulas, or simple dashboards
Exposure to SolidWorks, SolidWorks PDM, ALM, PLM, QMS, or other lifecycle-management tools
