Director of Technology
Main Responsibilities
TiL’s network of container terminals operates as independent terminal companies, with board level management, technical planning and investment decisions at TiL’s headquarters in Geneva. The existing terminals, and those that will be added to the portfolio in the coming years, have a wide variety of technologies and systems. While some systems are necessarily and appropriately unique to each terminal, TiL intends to standardise systems and technologies, and centralise those terminal functions where it is reasonable and sensible to do so. Our objective in making this transition is to improve efficiency in the supply chain, within the terminals as well as at the interfaces between the terminals, the shipping lines, and land transportation network. We envision centralising some of the terminal operating systems functionality and significantly improving (intensifying) the interface with our major shareholder, MSC.
