We are looking for an experienced MEP Project Manager to support the delivery of complex mission-critical infrastructure projects within industrial and high-tech environments.
The role involves leading the design, coordination, and execution of MEP systems for data centre and critical infrastructure projects, ensuring robust, efficient, and highly reliable technical solutions. You will act as a key interface between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring smooth project delivery from early design through commissioning and handover.
A strong focus is placed on technical excellence, system reliability, redundancy, and energy efficiency, as well as delivering projects in line with industry standards for high-availability environments.
:
- Lead and manage MEP design and delivery activities across data centre and critical infrastructure projects
- Oversee the full project lifecycle from concept development, detailed design, execution, commissioning, and handover
- Develop and coordinate technical solutions for electrical and mechanical building services systems
- Manage electrical power systems, including MV/LV distribution, UPS systems (N+1, 2N, 2N+1 architectures), and backup power generation (diesel generators)
- Oversee design and delivery of cooling and HVAC systems, including CRAC/CRAH units, chilled water systems, and DX cooling
- Support advanced cooling strategies such as liquid cooling concepts, rear-door heat exchangers, and hot/cold aisle containment
- Ensure system redundancy, resilience, and fault-tolerant design principles are implemented across all projects
- Manage building automation and monitoring systems, including BMS, DCIM, and SCADA integration
- Lead and support commissioning activities (Level 1–5), integrated systems testing (IST), factory and site acceptance testing, and load testing
- Coordinate with commissioning specialists, contractors, and technical teams to ensure full system validation and performance
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and guidelines, including Uptime Institute Tier standards and ISO standards
- Manage project cost, schedule, quality, and risk, ensuring timely delivery and issue resolution
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineering consultants, contractors, and client representatives
- Ensure effective communication and coordination across all project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
:
-
Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, Industrial, or equivalent)
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in MEP project management or engineering within data centres or complex infrastructure environments
- Strong technical expertise in electrical and mechanical building services systems
- Proven experience in data centre power systems, including MV/LV distribution, UPS architectures, and backup power systems
- Solid understanding of HVAC and cooling systems, including CRAC/CRAH, chilled water, and DX systems
- Experience with redundancy and reliability design principles (N+1, 2N, fault tolerance, concurrent maintainability)
- Familiarity with building management and monitoring systems (BMS/DCIM/SCADA)
- Hands-on experience with commissioning processes and integrated systems testing (IST, factory/site testing, load testing, black building tests)
- Strong understanding of relevant standards such as TIA-942, ASHRAE, IEC, ISO, and Uptime Institute guidelines
- Experience working in multi-stakeholder, complex project environments
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
- Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style
