- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in generative AI and machine learning.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
- Research background with practical experience solving complex research problems such as long-context models and multimodal (video/image) understanding, 3D modeling and diffusion models.
- Ideally worked with egocentric data and egocentric problems before.

With your technical expertise, you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first-party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
- Lead the integration of Gemini into XR products, design and implement customization layers to enable the next-generation of immersive XR experiences powered by Gemini.
- Collaborate with research teams to highlight model limitations and improve performance in key areas critical for XR applications.
- Develop expertise on the full deployment stack, to be able to deliver a customized and premium integration of Gemini in XR devices.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, provide recurring updates on project advancements, ensuring their expectations remain aligned with ongoing research and engineering work.
