The Shop Manager will lead the day-to-day operations of our flagship retail boutique and spa treatment area in Geneva, Switzerland. Reporting directly to the COO, this role is pivotal in driving exceptional sales of our luxury cosmetics products while overseeing the seamless delivery of personalized spa experiences for exclusive clients. The ideal candidate will manage a small team of 2, fostering a culture of excellence, client-centric service, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities1. Team Management and Development
o Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 2 (sales associates and/or spa therapists), conducting regular performance reviews, training sessions, and coaching to ensure high standards of service and product knowledge.
o Foster a collaborative, positive team environment aligned with L.RAPHAEL’s values of innovation, elegance, and care for excellence.
o Schedule staff effectively to optimize coverage for retail sales and spa appointments while managing compliance.
2. Sales Leadership and Revenue Growth
o Drive retail sales of luxury cosmetics products through targeted strategies, including upselling, client consultations, and events to achieve or exceed monthly revenue targets.
o Analyze sales data, monitor inventory levels, and implement merchandising best practices to enhance the boutique’s visual appeal and product accessibility.
o Build and nurture relationships with high-net-worth clients, leveraging CRM tools to personalize experiences and encourage repeat business and loyalty program enrollment.
3. Spa Operations and Client Experience
o Oversee the running of the spa treatment area, ensuring all appointments, treatments, and protocols are executed flawlessly for exclusive clients, adhering to hygiene, safety, and luxury service standards.
o Coordinate with therapists to deliver transformative wellness experiences, including bookings, follow-ups, and feedback collection to maintain exceptional client satisfaction.
o Collaborate to integrate retail sales with spa services, such as recommending complementary cosmetics during treatments.
4. Operational Excellence and Compliance
o Manage daily boutique and spa operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, stock replenishment, and vendor coordination.
o Ensure compliance with Swiss retail, health, and safety regulations, including data privacy and luxury brand presentation standards.
o Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales conversion rates, client retention, and treatment utilization, reporting insights to the COO for strategic decision-making.
5. Strategic Contributions
o Support L.RAPHAEL’s global expansion initiatives by identifying opportunities for local partnerships, events, or pop-up experiences in Geneva.
o Handle client escalations with discretion, turning potential challenges into opportunities for brand loyalty.
Qualifications and Skills· Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years in retail management, preferably in luxury cosmetics, beauty, or wellness sectors; experience in spa or hospitality operations is highly desirable.

Proven track record of managing small teams (2-5 members) and achieving sales targets in a high-end retail environment.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field; equivalent professional experience in luxury retail will be considered.
- Language Proficiency:
- Fluent in English and French.
