WinGD is looking for a
Model-Based Control Engineer (m/f/d)
Location: Winterthur

Responsibilities:
- Perform requirements analysis and define detailed technical specifications
- Analyze and understand controlled processes, often characterized by non-linear and time-varying dynamics
- Develop control software strategies using Model-Based Design methodologies
- Implement, verify, troubleshoot, and maintain high-quality control software solutions
- Ensure full compliance with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) throughout the entire V-model process
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and effective project delivery
- Contribute proactively as a collaborative team player within multicultural and multidisciplinary environments
Requirements:
- MSc in Control Engineering (or an equivalent discipline), preferably with specialization in internal combustion engines or mechanical engineering
- Strong expertise in advanced model-based control methodologies
- Proven experience in the model-based design and development of MIMO systems; prior application within internal combustion engine systems is highly advantageous
- Experience in developing embedded real-time applications for distributed system architectures
- Solid proficiency in software design and implementation using MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow
- Familiarity with Git and the Atlassian Jira/Confluence workspaces is considered a plus
- Very fluent in English
- German language skills are considered an advantage
