About the job:
Functions (duties and responsibilities):
- Provide support to the bank's client advisers to respond to all legal and regulatory questions arising out of their relationship with the clients.
- Provide Legal advice to other areas of the Bank, such as Client Solutions, Compliance, Risks, Talent & Culture, etc.
- Advice and support of other departments in the implementation of new law and regulatory changes.
- Participation in the review of the cross-border protocols and training of the employees.
- Handling of client complaints; litigation cases and coordination with external lawyers.
- Negotiation and review of legal contracts with suppliers, providers or other third parties.
- Review and creation of contractual documents regarding the services offered by the Bank.
- Review of internal policies, standards and procedures.
- Support in answering official inquiries of authorities and in answering inquiries related to the handling of clients' estates.
- Advise in FATCA, CRS and CARF matters.
- Offer trainings in different legal topics.
Your profile:
- Master of Laws degree in Switzerland, bar admission and/or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in the banking sector.
- Knowledge and experience in digital asset services.
- Flexible and proactive, team player, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Very good communication skills together with a concise and precise drafting style.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of diligence.
- Solution- and target-oriented person with analytical skills and a customer-oriented focus.
- Fluent in German and English, Spanish is an advantage.
