Onnec are recruitming for a Workplace Technology Services (WTS) Engineer to join our team supporting a key client in Zurich, Switzerland.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you will deliver high-quality IT infrastructure support across a live enterprise environment, covering both BAU support and project-based activities.
This position will play a key role in ensuring seamless delivery of IMACD services, incident resolution, and infrastructure maintenance within a fast-paced, process-driven setting.
The role is based on the client site, Monday - Friday, working a standard business day within a (7am - 7pm window). There may also be an on-call requirement for this role for out of hours coverage.
What you’ll be doing as our Workplace Technology Services (WTS) Engineer:
- Deliver IMAC / IMACD services including installs, moves, adds, and decommissions
- Provide first and second line break-fix support across hardware and infrastructure
- Carry out structured cabling, patching, and connectivity work
- Support technology rooms/data centre environments including rack & stack
- Manage and update tickets in line with SLA requirements
- Perform asset tracking, stock management, and logistics coordination
- Escort and supervise third-party/vendor activities onsite
- Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and handovers
- Ensure compliance with client processes, quality standards, and H&S requirements
What we’re looking for in our Workplace Technology Services (WTS) Engineer:
- Experience in WTS / desktop / data centre / infrastructure support roles
- Strong knowledge of:
- IMACD services
- Break-fix support
- Structured cabling and patching
- Experience working in live corporate or data centre environments
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g. ServiceNow)
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
