The Junior HR Business Partner supports the HR Director in delivering operational HR activities across Commercial Functions. In this dual-focus role, you will relieve the HRD of day-to-day operational tasks while serving as the dedicated HR point of contact for VP-2 level managers within the assigned scope — providing practical guidance, process support, and follow-through on people matters. You act as the liaison between managers and employees, ensuring that all HR policies are aligned with the team’s needs.
How you will create a beautiful impact:
Support to the HR Director (HRD)
- Handle day-to-day operational HR tasks on behalf of the HRD, including data management, documentation, and coordination with Global HR team (COE & HR Services)
- Act as the day-to-day HR contact for all employees within scope.
- Support on the operational preparation of the core HR processes (Calibration, Development & Potential Review, Comp& Ben, Budget…)
- Support the adaptation and roll-out of global HR projects, policies, trainings and processes within the assigned departments
- Liaise with Payroll, providing relevant data inputs (absences, bonuses, leaves, allowances) in a timely and accurate manner.
Business Partnership — VP-2 Level
- Build strong and trusted partnerships with managers and employees.
- Act as the day-to-day HR contact for VP-2 level managers, providing guidance on HR policies, processes, and coaching.
- Partner with managers during the recruitment process: define profiles, participate in the briefing and in the interview process.
- Provide first-level advisory on performance management (feedback frameworks, goal-setting, PIPs) — escalating complex cases to the HRD
- Coach managers on handling employee relations matters such as absences, conflicts, or conduct issues
- Properly handle initial complaints and grievance procedures, documenting cases and escalating as appropriate
- Partner with employees and managers to contribute to a positive employee experience (Teampulse)
General HR Contribution
- Support Global HR through participation in Regional and Global HR projects
- Ensure data accuracy in SAP and maintain up-to-date personnel records
- Actively contribute to the Global HR strategy by sharing relevant insights
What you need to have to be our next audacious and creative talent:
- 3–5 years of experience in an HR-related role (post-university degree)
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong interest in AI tools with demonstrated application in daily work activities
- Experience within a matrix or international organization is an advantage
- Solid understanding of HR generalist processes
- Basic knowledge of Swiss labour law, with willingness to further develop expertise
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and dependable
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on, “can-do” attitude; comfortable navigating ambiguity and change
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build trust at all organizational levels
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with attention to detail (“zoom in and out”)
- Courage to challenge the status quo and confidently voice ideas and improvements
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
