Program Coordinator Intern – 6 months M/F/X
What if your internship was not about observing, but about making things happen?
At Swiss Education Academy, this internship is designed for someone who wants to understand what really happens behind the scenes of short, intensive international programs.
This is not a passive internship. You will contribute to the preparation and delivery of programs involving participants, colleagues, and partners from different countries and cultural backgrounds.
Priorities can shift. Details matter. Unexpected situations sometimes require practical thinking and fast adaptation.
Here, you will not simply watch things happen.
You will help make them happen.
Joining Swiss Education Group
For nearly 40 years, Swiss Education Group has been developing an international approach to education rooted in Swiss hospitality, practical learning, and professional development.
Its schools bring together people from many different cultures, creating an environment where learning happens through experience, responsibility, and human connection.
At Swiss Education Academy, that philosophy translates into programs where preparation, attention to detail, communication, and care for participants all matter.
This internship gives you the opportunity to be part of that environment, contribute to real programs, and progressively build confidence and autonomy.
You will work in a setting where people from different countries, cultures, and professional backgrounds come together around a common learning experience.
And behind every successful program, there is preparation, coordination, communication and attention to the details that make the experience work.
How we work
- Preparation matters. Things do happen, and improvisation is sometimes necessary — but it must be grounded in understanding, not guesswork.
- We value careful, attentive work and take mistakes as learning opportunities when they come from genuine effort and reflection.
- A significant part of the work involves administrative tasks that can be repetitive. Patience, accuracy, and the ability to work calmly without rushing are essential.
- We care about the people in our programs and the quality of their experience. This care shows in how we prepare, communicate, and follow through.
- Responsibility grows with trust. Feedback is direct and focused on improving the work.
What you will be involved in
- Program preparation and logistics, including administrative coordination
- From planning through execution and practical problem-solving
- Communication with participants, partners, and internal stakeholders
Experiences and Qualifications
- Reliable, organized, and comfortable with real operational responsibility
- Patient, detail-oriented, and able to handle repetitive administrative work calmly
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends when programs or events require it
- Fluent English is mandatory; additional languages are an asset

What you will gain
With training and progressive delegation, you will be encouraged to take on more responsibility as your confidence and understanding grow.
Over the six months, you will develop practical experience in coordination, communication, logistics and problem-solving in an international environment.
You will learn how to anticipate, organize and manage details without losing sight of the bigger picture.
You will also experience what it means to adapt when priorities change, communicate with different stakeholders and contribute to the quality of a program from preparation through delivery.
The objective is not simply to complete tasks.
It is to progressively understand the full picture and become capable of handling responsibilities more independently when required.
Prior experience is helpful, but it is not decisive.
Attitude, discernment and attention to detail matter more.
