As part of our continued commitment to operational excellence, we are seeking an experienced and driven Operations Manager to join our headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
In this pivotal role, you will work at the heart of TiL's global operations function, partnering with terminal leadership across our network to drive performance improvement, capacity optimization, and best-in-class standards. You will bring deep expertise in container terminal operations, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to lead cross-terminal initiatives that deliver measurable impact. Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with terminal leadership and operational teams to develop action plans and initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity and capacity.
- Track and report on the progress of improvement initiatives, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for further optimization.
- Implement performance improvement projects, including process reengineering, technology upgrades, and workforce optimization initiatives.
- Support terminals staff on best practices, standard operating procedures, and productivity enhancement techniques always prioritizing safety.
- Ensure Terminals compliance with TiL Minimum Health and Safey requirements.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across the organization by promoting a mindset of innovation, learning, and adaptation.
- Lead cross-terminal activities for continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen.
- Produce regular reports on terminal capacity, productivity, and volume, providing insights to management and stakeholders to support decision-making processes.
Support the implementation of master plan initiatives, coordinating with internal teams and external partners as needed.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience/Skill:

- 5-10 years of experience in Operations/Efficiency/Operational Excellence within container terminals.
- Thorough knowledge of terminal operating procedures, systems, and efficient drivers.
- Proven track record in analyzing operations, enhancing performance, and optimizing processes within the container sector.
- Ability to manage multiple priority projects logically, consistently, and accurately.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data sets and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Lean and/or Six Sigma expertise is beneficial.
- Proficient in written and verbal English, with expertise in concise and impactful communication through writing and presentations, including advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
