The Ferrum Group - with its subsidiaries Ferrum Packaging AG and Ferrum Process Systems AG - employs a total of around 800 people and offers high-quality products and services worldwide in the field of mechanical engineering. Around 30 apprentices are trained at the Swiss plant in Schafisheim. Thanks to our other locations in the USA, China, India, Brazil, Ivory Coast, Poland and Germany and Spain and our representatives in over 80 countries, we are close to our customers.

Ferrum Process Systems AG (centrifuge technology) serves a demanding clientele in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry worldwide.

Commercial Controller (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

Consolidating financial data from all subsidiaries into a standardized group reporting structure
Integrating production and cost data from our plants to create a global overview of gross margins
Monitoring profitability across the entire value chain – from production costs to final sales price
Analyzing revenue, margins, and commercial expenses to identify trends and deviations
Preparing monthly reports as a basis for management decision-making
Conducting data-driven simulations for new market initiatives or changes in the international setup
Monitoring commercial expenses against approved budgets to ensure financial discipline

Our requirements

A degree in Business Administration (with a focus on Controlling/Finance) or a comparable qualification
Several years of experience in business controlling within an industrial environment, with both technical and financial understanding
Knowledge of the full value chain (production, logistics, sales)
Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP)
Excellent communication skills combined with strong analytical thinking
High standards regarding data integrity and accuracy in financial reporting
Fluent German and English skills for collaboration with our international locations
Willingness to travel
