We are looking for a warm, reliable nanny to join our team to care for children in family homes across the Zug area, starting as soon as possible.
Rundil Childcare is a registered company in the Canton of Zug. That means you are employed by Rundil Childcare — not by the family. Most of our Zug families are international and English-speaking. They are looking for someone who turns up, knows the routine, remembers the favourite story, and stays.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING - Caring for children in the family's home — daily routines, meals, play, naps and bedtime as agreed- School and Kita runs, and after-school care- Age-appropriate play and activities, indoors and outdoors- Light child-related tidying — toys, children's laundry, kitchen after meals- Keeping the family informed with a short, friendly handover at the end of each session- Working consistently with the same family or families, so the children know exactly who is coming
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR - Fluent English (this is our working language with families; further languages are a plus)- The right to work in Switzerland- Verifiable childcare experience and contactable references- A clean criminal record extract (Strafregisterauszug) — verified before your first assignment- Reliability above everything. Punctual, consistent, and the sort of person who communicates early when something changes- Genuine warmth with children — patient, attentive, and happy to get involved rather than watch
WHAT WE OFFER - A proper employment contract with a Swiss employer — full social contributions, insurance and paid holiday- Regular, predictable hours from 20 hours per week upwards, built around your availability- Ongoing assignments rather than one-off jobs, so you build a real relationship with the children- Continuity: we assign you to families who suit your experience, and we handle it if a schedule needs to change
